Using Philips Hue Indoor Motion Sensor with Home Assistant
As we mentioned, this is probably one of the best sensors to use if you happy to invest a bit more for flexibility and ease of use.
How to connect to Home Assistant
The easiest way to do is to use Hue Component. You will also need a zigbee controller, you can use Hue controller or look at our list of best hardware for home assistant for recommendations.
Issues and tips
Overall it works well with Home Assistant, but some users report of a high response time (see forum post). There are number of solutions, but the easiest is to use if with Node Red. Also connecting it directly with home assistant server via zigbee stick might resolve the issue (again, see best hardware for home assistant for recommendations)
