How Does It Work?
- Trigger: There are couple of options:
- If your children have phones you they can be used as a trigger. Once their devices connected to the home wifi, you will get notification.
- Motion sensor or door sensor is another way to
- Condition: The automation should work once a day for each kid
- You can use the notifications systems like SMS, Pushbullet, or Telegram
- Use your voice assistant to remind the about anything they need to do. Something like “Can you please empty the dishwasher”.
ADVANCED TIPS: You can improve this automation by the following:
- Track when children left the home as well. That would be interesting statistics to have a look at
- You can also check when they will arrive at school. This might be great to make sure they are safe. Set up a notification if kids will not arrive within certain period of time to school.
- Install a camera pointed at your front door if you also want to get a picture of who entered the house.
