How Does It Work?
- Trigger: select motion sensor(s) or cameras the motion detection of which will alert the system. We recommend including all the motion sensors and windows sensors + any cameras or sensors you might have in your garden.
- Time Trigger: we would also recommend making sure that the “Holiday Mode” will be on every single day at a certain range of time (for example between 6pm and 7pm) at random minutes.
- Condition: this automation should only work if you are away or manually selected away mode.
- Action: You should switch on and off lights in certain rooms. Basically, just think about what lights are you usually using when you are at home. Ideally, the switch on time is random.
- Remember: do not forget to switch off the lights in the night, as you would have normally.
